We finally received a good snow fall of 10-12cm. The new snow combined with the base from the past month and our careful snowmobile grooming/packing has allowed us to get out the big Pisten Bully Snowcat to really start get the trails ready for some great skiing this winter.

The trails are not in mid-winter condition yet but there is enough snow for good & safe early season skiing on many of our trails and WE ARE OPEN as of Sunday Dec 15th!

Thank you so much to all the volunteers who helped make for a successful Work Party day at Telemark on Saturday Oct 26th. We had over 60 people out including many of the kids in the Competitive Youth programs. The rain held off and we were able to get lots of jobs done – firewood, painting, brush cutting, unpacking of some new rental skis, biathlon range maintenance… and more).
After a morning of work everybody enjoyed a free ‘Member Appreciation’ BBQ and then we confirmed a new Board of Directors at our AGM – A good and busy day indeed!

Now we are just waiting for snow!

Come join us on Saturday, Oct 26th to help Telemark get ready for winter.  We are hosting our annual volunteer work party from 9:00 AM until Noon at the Telemark Nordic Centre to…split firewood, paint, do trail maintenance, and accomplish a few other odd jobs before the season starts.  All are welcome!

We will break at noon for lunch. The Club will host a FREE BBQ with burgers, hot dogs, snacks and drinks for all.

The Telemark Annual General Meeting will take place right after lunch at 1pm.  The AGM is a great opportunity to meet the Telemark Board of Directors and find out what is going on in the Club.

Thanks to everyone – buyers sellers & volunteers – who supported the Team Telemark Ski Swap on Saturday Oct 19. it was a little damp but we had a wonderful and successful day raising about $5,000 for our Youth Competitive programs.

Our SKI SWAP is this weekend!  It is a great place to buy AND sell used equipment.  We are again holding our own XC specific swap at Kelowna Cycle. Everyone is welcome! If you are selling equipment, please complete our consignment form ahead of time. This year also accepting clothing and snowshoes!
