Hours of Operation

The Telemark Nordic Centre is currently CLOSED for xc skiing and snowshoeing. The Telemark trails are open for public “non-motorized” recreation use free of charge with no set hours during the spring/summer/fall season.

When the The Telemark Nordic Centre is open for the winter season we are open 7 days a week on a regular schedule (see below). Hours may vary – early season, late season and through Christmas. These hours will be posted as needed. We normally hope to be open for the season by early to mid December but opening can vary from mid November to late December depending upon the weather and snow conditions. Please call us 250-707-5925 if you have any questions about our hours.

Regular Season Hours of Operation

Monday 8am-5pm
Tuesday 8am-9pm
Wednesday 8am-9pm
Thursday 8am-9pm
Friday 8am-9pm
Saturday 8am-5pm
Sunday 8am-5pm

Night Skiing  (Telemark has 3.5km of lit trails on Stadium, Forest Lane and Rabbit trails)

The trail lights are turned on for night skiing 7 nights a week from dusk to 9pm when we are fully open for the season. The main daylodge will only be open for the evening as per our posted hours. When the daylodge is closed services such as rentals & food are not available. The downstairs rental room/common area will remain open 24/7 so that you always have a place to warm-up and change even when the main part of the daylodge is closed. Night skiing/part-day rates start at 4pm every day.

Important Night Skiing Note: In early December 2025 during the windstorms we had several trees fall across part of our lighted loop and take out several light poles and wiring. Due the high cost of repair the Board of Directors has decided to wait until we have funds in place to repair that section of trail lights. So there will be a 275m section of “Lit Rabbit” trail that will not have night lights this season. It is on a flat, easy section of trail with some light bleeding through from the lighted trails. So the impact to XC skiing is minimal but please make sure to always bring a head lamp.
