Grooming Cross Country Ski Trails
Have you ever wondered why there is snow on today’s grooming. Or why the trail grooming can get poor, or stops altogether, when the snow becomes wet from warm weather or rain. Why do we groom according to a changing plan? Click here for more information on grooming at Telemark (PDF file).

Winner #2 — Shendah Benoit
Shendah Benoit is going to be looking great on the trails this winter sporting her sharp new apparel from MEC after she cashes in the $100 MEC gift certificate she just won! Thank you Shendah and family for supporting our club with an annual membership.
You still have time to get your name into the grand prize draw for Fischer Twin Skin Pro skis + bindings OR complete youth ski package (skis, boots, bindings, poles) from Kelowna Cycle. Everyone who purchases an annual pass by December 1st will be included in the draw.
Telemark Doggy Trails Are Open

A three kilometer doggy snowshoe trail, and a three kilometer doggy classic only ski trail are opening this season. These new trails start at the entrance of our parking lot, on the other side of Glenrosa Road. We will review the new doggy trails as this season and make improvements as needed. Click here for more information (PDF file).
16 Hours ‘Till Early Bird Expires
You only have until midnight tonight (Oct 31, 2017) to get your 2017/18 membership at early bird prices AND to get your name in the draw for this $100 bad boy from MEC.
Telemark is currently winning the Cross Country BC provincial membership drive, but we have another 30 days to go and Caledonia (Prince George), Sovereign Lake (Vernon), and Larch Hills (Salmon Arm) are all fighting hard to overtake us. Tell your neighbours, friends, co-workers, and extended family to purchase an annual membership so they can join our little Nordic wonderland.
The trail guys have been working like mad to get all the trails in top condition for early December opening. We have some new intermediate trail options (cut-offs from the Rabbit trail) and 2 brand new dog-legal ski and snowshoe trails.
Only 5 weeks left in the Club Membership Contest. Here are your latest standings:
• Group A: Will anyone catch Telemark or will it be back-to-back victories? Shuffle in the chase pack for second. Sovereign Lake has made a massive move in the past week and is now ahead of Caledonia for the first time. They’ve also regained their edge on Larch Hills, whose recent surge seems to have slowed down. And how will Kimberley fare? It’s worth noting that Kimberley had almost 1,100 members last year… absolutely incredible for a city of only 7,400 people!
