Are you new to XC Skiing? Are you new to Telemark? We would love to make you feel welcome by giving you a FREE XC ski lesson/tour at the Telemark Nordic Centre. Rentals are also included but a Trail Pass ($20) must be purchased.

Sorry, both Sessions (Jan 18th and Feb 15th) are now SOLD OUT. We will try for another Icebreaker session in March – weather and snow dependant. Watch for it on our website and Social Media later in the season.

The Team Telemark raffle is back for another year!  The  raffle is a fundraiser for  the Team Telemark  Youth Competitive Programs.  Our Team Telemark kids are working hard to do their best and represent the Telemark Nordic Club.  Please support them in their efforts towards excellence.

Bust off Your Holiday Belly on JAN 1, 2025 at Telemark Nordic

Nothing like Jan 1 to kick of your fitness New Year’s resolution goals. Join us Jan 1 at 11am with all of us for a 1hr skiing challenge. How many laps of our 2.5k course can you complete in an hr? One canned food item donation is asked for entrance fee. This loop is beginner friendly, and invites people of all ages and abilities (classic or skate). Rentals available at the Telemark daylodge.
This event is FREE for all season passholders/member or day users. It is kiddo and beginner friendly too, so don’t be shy to come join the fun. We are all in this fitness resolution together! At the end, we will total the distance of all participants and see how far we, as a group, can ski from one side of the province to the other! Prizes are offered.

No pre registration needed. The event use a timing chip to keep track so skiers need to bring their canned food item to the centre stadium 30min before the start to exchange for their chip. Announcers will be at the ready and everyone takes off at the same time. If you cross the line under 45min), you can go do another lap so long as you finish It within the hr. Have fun and get your ski on!

Come out and Play!

Join us for our first big weekend of the year. Ski with Santa at 9:45am on Saturday Dec 21st. Ski with Santa around stadium and play some games (do you think you can catch Santa and his special guest?) – Hot chocolate and snacks at the fire pit and a special musical treat.
Join us for some live music with our favourite band Crisprr (most of the band are long time Telemark members & volunteers). They are shooting a video for their new song ‘Snow is falling’ (a song about XC skiing) and will perform some live music in the daylodge after the Ski with Santa.

We finally received a good snow fall of 10-12cm. The new snow combined with the base from the past month and our careful snowmobile grooming/packing has allowed us to get out the big Pisten Bully Snowcat to really start get the trails ready for some great skiing this winter.

The trails are not in mid-winter condition yet but there is enough snow for good & safe early season skiing on many of our trails and WE ARE OPEN as of Sunday Dec 15th!
