Teck Track Attack Champs – Thank you

February 26, 2024 Posted by Mike Edwards

This past weekend Telemark hosted a successful Teck Track Attack Championships.  There were near record numbers of participants and by all accounts it was a great weekend of fun, friendship and, of course, racing.  Thanks to the title sponsor Teck and our contributing sponsors BMO – Nesters Market – Save-On-Foods – Sunrype – Cobbs and our partner accommodation providers Marriot Fairfield & Marriot Town Suites. Thanks also to BC ViaSport for financial $ hosting support. Thanks to everybody who came from all over BC and even Washington State to join the fun.  A special thanks to all the great volunteers who made it all happen. Results and more info on our event webpage.

Track Attack Championships Feb 24-25.

February 10, 2024 Posted by Mike Edwards

Telemark is hosting the Teck Track Attack Championships Feb 24-25. This event will see 275 kids ages 9-12yrs from all across BC come to Telemark for a weekend of fun competition.
It takes a lot of volunteers to host an event like this and we could still use a few more. We hope you have some time to volunteer and help make this a successful event. There are many different roles. Please go to our Volunteer sign up page through this link or… use the QR code in the poster.

It will be quite busy at Telemark that weekend but the event does not take up very much space on the trails and we will remain fully open for public/member skiing and snowshoeing that weekend with just some minor disruptions to trails access.

Welcome Back Red Moose Immigration Services as a Club Sponsor

February 5, 2024 Posted by Mike Edwards

Telemark would like to  welcome back Red Moose Immigration Services as a Club sponsor for their fifth year.

Nicole and Robert Kleemaier of Red Moose Immigration Services in Kelowna are avid cross-country skiers and  have been long time, active Telemark members.  They wanted to give something back to the Club and have become a dedicated sponsor. You may have seen their banner as the backdrop for the season pass photo this year or outside on the fence.  You will definitely see Nicole and Robert around the trails in their distinctive Red Moose outfits.

Red Moose supports foreign nationals in their efforts to get a visitor visa, study permit, work permit or permanent resident permit. They also help employers who want to hire those individuals. If you need these kinds of services please think of Nicole and Robert and Red Moose Immigration Services.
