Telemark Strategic Plan 2022

January 30, 2022 Posted by Mike Edwards

In the spring and summer of 2021 the Telemark Nordic Club Board of Directors developed a new long term strategic plan.  This new plan, unveiled in the winter of 2021-22,  will be used to guide our Club development for the next few years.  Please go to our Strategic Plan Website page to see all the Club’s plans

Warming hut on the trails would be much appreciated by all members. Investment in infrastructure is the way to grow!

Thanks for the comment. Yes a warming hut is in the plans and we plan to have one in the next 1-2 years. Do you have a suggestion for a location?

      Mike

A warming hut at the top of Fern Creek would be nice.

My young boys and I are new to Telemark since 2020/2021. One thing we really find frustrating is the very few trail signs there are. I am sure those who have skied at Tele for years don’t need them but it sure would be nice for those who are new. And also if there is a clear one way proper signing on the trail would be greatly appreciated. The additional parking this year sure has been helpful Saturday mornings. Great job team. Thanks for listening

Hi Brian; Thanks for the comments. Yes we are aware that our signage is an issue and have plans to improve it this coming summer.

      Thanks, Mike

Excellent. That is great news. We are loving Telemark and look forward to years of enjoyment to come.

How about a bench at the top of Ridgeview snowshoe trail? I would be willing to help.

Great, Thanks for the suggestion. That is something can look at doing for sure especially with volunteer help.
