Madeleine 2

December 30, 2025 Posted by Vanessa Hair

Meet Madeleine — a long-time Telemark snowshoe member and a true inspiration.

At 84 years young, Madeleine has been snowshoeing at Telemark for nine years, and she still loves every step. Her favourite trails are Panorama and Bullwinkle, where you’ll often find her out enjoying the quiet beauty of the forest.

Originally from Montreal, Madeleine says the cold has never bothered her. She’s always loved being outdoors — whether snowshoeing in the winter or hiking in the warmer months — and her energy and determination continue to inspire our community.
