December 24, 2023 Posted by Mike Edwards

To the valued members, guests and volunteers of the Telemark Community: The Telemark Nordic Club would like to wish you all a safe, healthy, and joyous holiday season, and New Year.  Enjoy Telemark this Holiday season with your friends and family!

The skiing and snowshoeing at Telemark are still “Early Season” in this very low snow year but we are open and will remain open everyday through the entire holiday season including Christmas and New Year’s day.  Check out the full holiday Schedule

Telemark Opening with Early Season Conditions – Starting Dec 16th

December 16, 2023 Posted by Mike Edwards

Starting Dec 16th the Telemark Daylodge will be open daily on modified hours. Please go to our Hours of Operation webpage for details. Everybody is welcome to come up and pick up your season pass, go for a ski or snowshoe and have a hot chocolate.

We have enough snow to ski and snowshoe but conditions are still “Early Season”. All ski trails are groomed but they are not in mid winter condition and there is not a track in many places but, in general, the skiing is safe and quite good on a 10cm packed base. We need to have a 20cm base before we can do regular grooming with our Pisten Bully snowcat. So we will do some snowmobile grooming to improve conditions as needed and until we get more snow. Snowshoeing on all the trails is open and safe but base is thin.

Telemark Annual Work Party – BBQ and AGM

October 26, 2023 Posted by Mike Edwards

Come join the fun on Saturday Oct 28th and help us get ready for winter.  We are hosting a work party from 9:00 AM until noon to…split firewood, paint, do trail maintenance  and accomplish a few other odd jobs before the season starts.

We will break at noon for lunch. The Club will host a free BBQ with burgers, hot dogs, snacks and drinks.

The Telemark Annual General Meeting will take place right after lunch at 1pm.  The AGM is a great opportunity to meet the Telemark Board of Directors and find out what is going on in the Club.

We hope to see you there.
