Panorama Cabin Update and Fundraiser

March 5, 2026 Posted by Mike Edwards

This is it…the last big push to get the Panorama Cabin built!

We have been working hard on cabin preparations the last couple of years.
–  Government approval is in place (Including environmental assessment and First Nations consultation)
–  Engineered plans are finalized
–  A site survey is done and the cabin site is staked out
–  A geotechnical survey for the foundation is done
–  The building site is cleared with a new access trail built
–  The building permit process with RDCO is underway

All that’s left now is to build the cabin!

The cabin is planned for a spectacular spot overlooking the Okanagan valley 1/2 way along the Panorama Ridge ski and snowshoe trails at the Telemark Nordic Centre. It will provide a challenging yet accessible destination for everybody as well as shelter for those needing a rest while on a longer adventure. The cabin is planned be made to modern building standards complete with covered deck space and plenty of room in its 18’x24′ footprint.

Thanks to the generous donations of people like yourself, corporate donations & some operational $ we now have 70% of the budgeted $100,000 for the Panorama Cabin in place or already spent. To build the cabin this coming summer we need to close that gap.

Donating to the Panorama Cabin project is one of the 2 ways to Uplift Telemark” to “Stabilize Today and Strengthen for Tomorrow”.

We hope you are as excited by the Panorama Cabin project as we are. Thank you so much for any $ amount you are able to donate. PLEASE DONATE HERE
