Track Attack Champs Event – Thanks

January 27, 2026 Posted by Mike Edwards

This past weekend Telemark hosted a successful Teck Track Attack Championships.  A week earlier we were on the verge of canceling the event due to low snow but with some hard work and a little bit of help from mother nature we were able to pull of a great event. By all accounts it was an amazing weekend of fun, friendship and, of course, racing.

Thanks to the title sponsor Teck and our contributing sponsors BMO – Nesters Market – Save-On-Foods – Sunrype – Cobs – Coca Cola – Karma – MEC – Paynters Fruit Market and our partner accommodation providers Fairfield Marriot & TownePlace Marriot. Thanks also to BC ViaSport for financial $ hosting support. Thanks to everybody who came from all over BC and even Washington State to join the fun.  A special thanks to all the great volunteers who made it all happen.

Track Attack Championships Event Jan 24-25 – Volunteers Needed & Info

January 19, 2026 Posted by Mike Edwards

Telemark is proudly hosting the Teck Track Attack Championships Jan 24-25, 2026. Telemark will see about 275 young xc skiers (age 9-12yrs) from across BC gather for two days of fun competition.  This event ensures that Telemark is part of the BC xc skiing community, helps to develop our young skiers and acts as a fundraiser for the Club. For more info about the event please go to our website event page  Teck BC Track Attack Championships 2026

Preparations for the event are well underway but we do still need some volunteers to make sure  we can  do the best job possible of hosting this great event.  There are a variety of roles including stadium, course, timing, event office, awards banquet, food, parking, volunteer support, and more. Volunteers are supported with a hot lunch, refreshments, a few SWAG items and more. Please to go to our Volunteer Sign-up Page to find a job for you.

Telemark will be open to Season Passholders and Day Users during the event but please  keep in mind that some trails may be temporarily closed and  parking will be at a premium. Bel0w is an Trail Access Map for the weekend’s racing:
